Following their Saturday morning matches our 2013 players, parents and coaches enjoyed lunch at our sponsors Bob&Berts Ballymena premises.
The team were then guests of the Senior Club at Saturday’s Irish Premier League game against Crusaders as recognition for the team's 4 tournament winners trophy haul including the prestigious Craigavon Cup.
DJ took time out to congratulate our ‘superstars’ and offered words of encouragement to our kids who listened intently to the boss.
Speaking afterwards, Head Coach, Paul Muir said,
"I'm not afraid to admit I had tears in my eyes as I listened too, imagining all the footballing hopes and dreams of our kids just like my own all those years ago. My wish now is that their dreams come true and see some of these players play for Ballymena United First Team in the future."
"I would like to put on record my thanks to David Jeffrey, Iain Black, Don Stirling, John Anderson and Jonny Hume for giving our group of 2013 kids (and parents) an experience they will simply never forget."
"I would also like to thank Dee, Rachel and all the staff in Bob & Berts for hosting our group of 50+ so well."
