A huge thank you to Karen from the Steven Lowry Memorial Trust, who recently presented our club with defibrillators. Karen, her husband David and their family, set up the charity in memory of her son, Steven, who sadly suffered a heart attack and passed away after football training in 2011. Steven was a keen footballer and a great friend to many people associated with our club.
Karen and David have raised thousands of pounds and made it their mission to provide defibrillators to clubs and communities throughout the borough, in memory of Steven. Whilst we hope we never have to use this equipment, we are extremely thankful to have access to this lifesaving kit within our club.
Pictured are Karen and her 2 grandsons, Dylan and Scott, who play for our u16's and helped present the defibrillators to committee member Michael and head coach Jonny.
